Sweet Math – an arithmetic game

I contributed some level designs and curricular alignment for a re-release of a simple arithmetic game created by Patrick Poirier in 2013. We reported on how we integrated feedback from the community into the redesign here: Sweet Math on workingexamples.org. The game is now available for free on Google Play.

2013 ISPI Case Study Competition

Some classmates from the Educational Technology program and I took part in a business case simulation where the creator of the simulation, Matt Donovan,  requested consulting services for a fictitious, adventure–retail company, EAES, Inc.

It was a very challenging experience. We met nearly every week despite all of our other commitments to develop our client relationship, research the industry and potential interventions, and to develop a detailed proposal. It was an amazing bonding experience and I was so proud to be on this team with Ryan Forster, Harry Kavallos, Stefan Krueger, Dahlia Radwan, Robert Leibner, and Fei Shu.

The panel of judges was Roger Addison, Ray Svenson, Anne Apking, and Eileen Banchoff, and it was an honour to meet with all of them.
